With many years of experience behind him, Chef Jordi Garrido offers a gastronomic experience defined by his personality, passion and respect for the products he uses, offering a fresh, healthy, authentic, local cuisine in an exceptional setting.
At just 33 years of age, he has worked in Martín Berasategui’s kitchen in San Sebastian, at Casa Marcelo in Santiago de Compostela, at Neichel in Barcelona and in Angel Pascual’s kitchen in Lluçanés. In his native Valencia, he worked with Oscar Torrijos before opening his own restaurant, the renowned Portal Fosc, in Xàtiva. Jordi Garrido’s Portal Fosc was recognised as the Best New Restaurant in the Valencian Community in 2009 and was a finalist for the same award at Madrid Fusion 2010. Garrido has also been involved as a speaker at many gastronomic events.
